Hello, I’m Rose.

I’m a backpacker, birdwatcher, and artist based in the greater Seattle area, Washington.

My artistic journey began with a problem. In the backcountry of the eastern Sierra Nevada as the first light began warming the opposite cliffs, I pulled out my smartphone and realized that it was not enough. I set out to capture what it really feels like to see the sunrise, hear the wind, or miss a snack stolen by a hungry squirrel.
